Live Stream DJ — Your Own Private Feed From the Decks
This is the technical side of what I do: the mix leaves my decks and reaches your speakers about two seconds later. It isn't routed through a public radio station and it isn't shared with anyone outside your booking.
Built for low delay
The stream runs over a real-time connection rather than a traditional radio feed, which is why the lag is seconds rather than the 10–15 seconds you get with most online radio. That matters when you're asking for a track and want to hear it come in.
For bars and venues
Venues can run the stream from a laptop or tablet plugged into the house system. It's a way to put on a guest DJ night without flying anyone in. Get in touch through the contact page for venue or recurring bookings.
Connecting to your sound
Open the event link on a laptop, phone or smart-TV browser. Use an HDMI cable to the TV, a 3.5mm or USB lead to a mixer or amp, or Bluetooth to a speaker. Cable beats Bluetooth for reliability.
Questions
How long is the delay?
Typically one to two seconds between my decks and your speakers.
Is the stream public?
No. Each booking has a private room link; only people with the link can listen.
What if the internet drops?
Playback buffers briefly and carries on. A wired connection at your end avoids most problems.
