A UK DJ for an American party makes sense when you want a European techno or trance sound you can't easily book locally. The time difference is the main thing to plan around, and it works in your favour for early-evening parties.
Time zones
UK time is 5 hours ahead of Eastern, 6 ahead of Central, 7 ahead of Mountain and 8 ahead of Pacific for most of the year. An 8pm Eastern party starts at 1am in the UK, which is fine — I'll be on the decks. Pacific late nights are harder; ask before booking.
The booking calendar shows times converted to your local clock, so check the time it displays before you pay.
Paying from the US
Prices are in pounds sterling. Your card converts at checkout; £99 is roughly $125–135 depending on the rate your bank uses.
Getting it on your system
Open the event link on a laptop connected to the TV by HDMI, or cast it from a phone. For a backyard party, a laptop into a PA or powered speaker by cable is steadier than Bluetooth.
